An Inauspicious Return, Brimming with Irony and Nuance

It has been almost six years since my last post on this blog. (My thanks to those of you have visited during that time. I hope you were able to pick some unspoiled fruit.)

Time spent exploring the Humanity of which I am inextricably a component:

intersubjectivity (neither objectivity nor subjectivity, which are almost never possible).

intercontexutality. 

 irony.

the miracle of words; they can do and undo just about anything. 

loyalties to spirits.

startling new discoveries regarding why The True God wanted all of this.

self-gaslighting projection.

solid rocks worthy of my eternal trust - transcending any sense of "proof' via "facts".

nuance.

oblivious conclusions.

 

the need to control, in countless subtle ways, rooted in non-confronted terror,

(or perhaps, just to pretend to control).

 

the silly hypocrisies of high sounding rhetorical systems that disparage silly hypocrisies,

 

just about anything - presenting itself as just about anything else.

clinging to things that must inevitably be lost,

uniting with wondrous eternal mysteries out of necessity - as over-cherished illusions fade,

 

and most importantly and often least appreciably -  

profound and eternal goodness, 

truth, 

beauty, 

compassion,

courage, 

power, 

connection, 

fruitfulness

satisfaction...

 

all seeking to pierce a wall - 

one that we/I built and maintained since childhood 

with the help of mini-cultures and mini-kingdoms with convoluted motives

with whom we have cooperated vigorously 

out of ignorance and debasement, each feeding on the other,

 which never, never have the final say.
