A Cat Lover’s Aid in Remembering the Meaning of the Word Alacrity,
Written in Combined Iambic-Pyrrhic Tetrameter,

Alas, alack! -
a cat attack:
an itty bit-
ty kitty in
a critter sack.
No pity lacked.
I unknotted
the sack. The kit-
ty, giddy now,
and lucky, backed
out that sack with
alacrity.
